Correos brings stamp collecting to children with this booklet made up of eight self-adhesive stamps devoted to the TV programme Los Lunnis.
“Los Lunnis” began to be broadcast on 15th September 2003 and soon became one of the most popular TV series for children. Full of colour and charm, the eight main characters, called Lucho, Lublú, Lulila, Lulo, Lula, know-all Lupita, teacher Lutecio and the witch Lubina, leave children speechless with their cheeky but innocent roles. They come on early every morning to say hello, cheer up the children and encourage them to start the day off with enthusiasm. They come back at lunchtime, teatime and at eight o’clock in the evening to remind the younger ones it’s bedtime. The series, created and directed by Valentin Villagrasa, is produced by TVE and aims to teach children to respect the values of tolerance and coexistence as well as entertain, educate and make children enjoy themselves. More than 200 people including scriptwriters, puppetmakers and specialists work on the development of this programme. Los Lunnis was recently awarded the prize for best children’s programme at the International Media Festival of Hamburg.
The differentiation of the time slot between children´s and adults´ programmes began in 1964, when television was in black and white, with the Telerín family , Cleo, Tete, Maripí, Pelusín, Coletas and Cuquín singing the song “Vamos a la cama que hay que descansar…”. It carried on in the 70’s with Don Pepino y el Loro; and a decade later with Telén, Telín, Talon, Mamicama and the O’Clock Cat.
