This self adhesive booklet made up of eight stamps depicting old toys, will no doubt make grown ups remember the happy childhood times. For the younger ones they will make them know the toys their eldest played with. These pieces, that for most of us made our childhood a happy one will arise memories of past times. The toys depicted in this booklet are now exhibited in museums because of their beauty and their good quality. The puppets featuring in one of the stamps are kept in the Puppet Theatre of the Ismael Collection in Sevilla la Nueva. This collection gathers more than 400 puppets made of different materials and techniques from various countries.

The rest of the stamps depict : spinning tops from the Museu del Joguet de Catalunya in Figueres opened in 1982 and exhibiting more than 4000 pieces amongst Meccanos, planes, kitchens, trains, dolls and toys for the blind ; a car from the Museu de la Joguina, Tomas Pla collection from Sant Feliu de Guixols opened in 2000 and with more than 3500 pieces in wood and tin from 1875 to 1975; a lorry from the Museu dels Joguets in Denia, a museum showing the toy industry of the region from the beginning of the XX century till the sixties; the Mariquita Pérez doll from the Fundación Raquel Cuevas in Vigo, this became a very popular doll in the 70’s and is now a valued museum piece; a box of marbles from the Museo Castellano-Manchego del Juguete in Mohedas de la Jara, opened in 2000 and with more than 6000 pieces of all kinds and times; a horse and carriage from the Museu de la Jugueta de Sa Pobla, chosen amongst the 4000 industrial and handicraft pieces of the XIX and XX centuries. Finally a motorbike from the Fundació Museu Valencia del Joguet d’Ibi set up in 1990, which makes up the collection of 444 tin made toys handed over by the Payá family.
