ANNIVERSARIES
Two new stamps in the Anniversaries series commemorate the Second Centenary of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Hermenegild and the 50th Anniversary of the Creation of the Centre for National Defence Studies.
The Centre for National Defence Studies (CESEDEN) was created in 1964 and is the main military teaching centre attached to the Spanish armed forces. The institution is headquartered in Madrid and gives advanced courses in national defence, whilst carrying out research into, and dissemination of, the culture of security and defence. By advanced studies in national defence, we understand those relating to peace, security, defence and military policy, aimed at professionals in the armed forces and other areas of public administrations and the general public. CESEDEN has collaboration agreements for teaching with public universities, advanced defence centres and public and private companies.

Rate B - €1.65. For a “standard” Ordinary International letter or postcard addressed to Europe (including Greenland), up to 20 g.

Rate D - €2.10. For a “standard” Ordinary International letter or postcard addressed to the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, up to 20 g.
