The block sheet features the image of the driver during one of his many celebrations and has the unique characteristic of including a tyre track.
Carlos Sainz was born in Madrid in 1962. He studied Law for two years and dropped out of his degree to dedicate himself to professional car race driving.
As soon as he reached 18 years old, he competed in his first rally race, the Rally Shalymar with the Renault 5 that his father had bought for him and he modified to be able to compete along with Juanjo Lacalle.
From this point onward he competed in many races and, little by little, he started paving his way and earning himself a name in the world of competition driving.
He has been the only Spanish driver to ever have won the World Rally Championship, and in fact, managed to do so on two separate occasions.
He is considered the best ever Spanish rally driver, always being in good physical condition and with great sporting ability.
He is also known for his talent in the field of car developing, turning them into competitive tools that help him to be successful.
After retiring from the world championships, he decided to compete in the Rally Dakar and has done so since 2006 until the latest edition this year. In 2010 he was proclaimed race champion with Volkswagen.
